Maharaj Shri RANDHIR SINGH M.Sc., 19th Jagirdar of Bhindar since 1967 and 1st Class Umrao of Mewar (Rajmahar, Bhinder, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India), born 9th February 1956 in Bhindar, Udaipur; Member of the Vidbhan Sabha (12th); married 7th July 1981, Rani Deependra Kumari, daughter of Rajkumar Karan Singh Chauhan of Wao in Gujarat, and has issue, one son and one daughter.

  • Rajkumari Hemavati Kumari, born 5th December 1982, married Kunwar Suryavijay Singh Rathore, grandson of Brigadier Thakur Sultan Singhji of Asrasar in Bikaner and has issues, one daughter and a son.

Short History

Maharaj of Bhindar is a Sisodia Rajput of the Bhanawat division of the Shaktawat clan. He is descended from Maharaj Shakta, son of Maharana Udai Singh II of Mewar.

  • Maharaj SHAKTA, 1st Rawat of Bhindar, second son of Maharana Udai Singh II of Mewar, he was granted the the Jagirs of Bhindar and Bhadsoda, married 1stly, Raniji Panwar, married 2ndly, Raniji Rathore, married 3rdly, Raniji Panwar, married 4thly, Raniji Chappni, married 5thly, Raniji Rathore, married 6thly, Raniji Kachhwahi, married 7thly, Raniji Veerpuri from Lunawada, married 8thly, Raniji Jhaliji, married 9thly, Raniji Rathoreji from Jodhpur, she committed sati, married 10thly, Raniji Hadi, she committed sati, married 11th, Raniji Solankhiniji, she committed sati, and had issue, seventeen sons. He died after 1576.
