Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), at its ninth convocation ceremony on Saturday, 1st February 2025, has conferred an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters upon Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to cultural preservation, social welfare, education, environmental sustainability, and nation-building. He received it from the university chancellor Dr. Ajeenkya DY Patil.
