Rawat BHUPENDRA SINGHJI, 19th and present Rawat Sahib of Bansi (Bansi Palace, Distt. Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India), married a Kumari of the Bakasur family.
Short History
The family is descended from Achal Das, the younger son of Maharaj Sakat Singh, the founder of the Bhindar, who was himself the second son of Maharana Udai Singh. It was named Bansi due to the abundance of bamboo (called Bans in Hindi) found there.
