Thakore Shri HAMIRSINHJI SANGRAMSINHJI, present Thakore Saheb of Wadagam, married to Thakorani Saheb Janakkuvarba Hamirsinhji, daughter of Thakur Saheb of Kuda in Rajasthan.

Short History

Wadagam (or Vadagam) was a 5th Class State on the Majam river in the Rehvar district of the former Mahi Kantha, and was founded by Kumar Shri Keshavdasji Rajsinhji of Ranasan, a scion of the family of Ranasan and the former Raos of Chandrawati, being Rehvar Rajputs of the Indra race, sharing an agnatic descent with the Thakores of Mohanpur. Their seat was at Wadagam, the principal town of the state. The Thakore pays no tribute, his family holds no sanad allowing adoption and in matters of succession it follows the rule of primogeniture.
